Nineties Nostalgia

Are we already there.. 10 years ago was 1999 and did you party like it was 1999?? I loved the 90's even though the teenage years are supposed to be the hardest..

It started today when I turned on my tv only to see that Party of Five was on. Looking back at Matthew Fox, Neve Campbell and Jennifer Love Hewitt and the other ones.. who's names I obviously don't know as they haven't been famous since the show was cancelled.
But it got me thinking, the 90's are back in fashion.. plaid shirts, grunge, doc martens, hats and leather jackets, need I go on

But the 90's were the best. A much simpler time before email and mobile phones. When the summers were always hot and awesome tv shows like My So Called Life (like the best show ever!! and when you said the word Like and Ever),

Ren and Stimpy, The Word, Blossom (you know you watched it!) and cool movies like Singles, Reality Bites, Clerks, Dazed and Confused etc etc

Listening to the Cranberries, Green Day and when Fiona Apple, Alanis Morrissette and Courtney Love were still cool and, for me, teen angst was in the air...

I could go on and I'm sure you have your favourites, but I will leave you with LIKE the best clip EVER.. Seriously it is

Thundercats..the best film that never was..??

So I found this online at Empire and can't believe someone spent time putting this together. However I am grateful as it's brilliant..even the casting can't be beat!!

This has to be motivation for some movie company to make this... I can hear the sound of the till's ringing now

Enjoy!

The Madonna's

The many faces of a girl called Madonna. While she has changed and evolved, has really ever changed. Still continuing to push and break boundaries, while still looking a little lost in the chaos??

I love photography and I am a great fan of Vanity Fair's portraits. As well as being a big fan of the great Annie Leibovitz, Herb Ritts and Mario Testino among others.

To view the Vanity Fair special where Madonna "Expressed herself - and Undressed herself for Vanity Fair" click on the photo.

My favourites are 1991 and 1998..
OK, so LOST came back last night and it was a corker of an episode. It finally seems like its going somewhere and we are going to get some answers to questions like, what the hell are polar bears doing on the island !!

But I have to admit after last night's jam packed episode, I love Sawyer even more now. Who knew it was possible! I won't ramble on about what makes me love him..... but come on who doesn't love a man who looks good in glasses and a jumpsuit

Sorry just had to get that off my chest.... can't wait for the next episode

Tattoo me

Seems like more and more people are getting my friends artwork inked on their skin. Here is the latest example..

Trailers

For me the best part of going to the cinema is the trailers.
Don't get me wrong, I do actually go to watch a film plus I love getting my bucket of popcorn.

Other than pizza, popcorn is my other favourite food...Is it me or does the popcorn in the cinema taste better than the fake crap you buy in the supermarket!

Anyway here is a the trailer for The Hangover, which is gonna be funny. The trailer explains the plot and watch out for the cameo at the end.
Enjoy!

Beginings

I am finally getting back to all things creative and received my Polaroid camera last week.
Here are a few test shots I took while at home one evening.. Lets hope they get better eh..!

Enjoy...
